You Are

You are an accomplished SoC Implementation leader with deep technical expertise and proven people-management capability. You bring extensive experience delivering complex ASIC and SoC designs from synthesis through tapeout, including timing constraint development, low-power verification, physical implementation, STA, and signoff using industry-leading Synopsys tools.

What You Will Be Doing

Technical & Program Leadership

You will lead the successful execution of advanced SoC implementation projects, providing technical direction across the complete implementation flow, including synthesis, timing constraints, low-power verification, physical design, STA, timing closure, and signoff. You will drive design quality and delivery excellence through robust methodologies, engineering best practices, and continuous process improvement.

As a senior technical leader, you will guide teams through complex implementation and signoff challenges, serve as the escalation point for critical technical issues, and help evolve methodologies and automation that improve productivity, quality, and predictability across the organization.

People Management & Team Development

You will build, lead, and develop a high-performing SoC Implementation team in Vietnam, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance management. You will lead a large organization of engineers and technical leads, helping individuals expand their technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

You will foster a culture of technical rigor, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring strong employee engagement, career growth, and organizational scalability.

Stakeholder & Business Partnership

You will partner closely with customers, Business Units, R&D teams, and other key stakeholders to align engineering execution with business priorities and customer needs. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, contribute to delivery planning and risk management, and play a key role in strengthening Synopsys' SoC engineering capability in Vietnam.

What You Will Need

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electromechanics, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC implementation, with proven success delivering complex designs from synthesis through tapeout.
• Strong expertise in synthesis, timing constraint development and debug, physical implementation, STA, timing closure, and signoff.
• Solid experience with implementation quality and signoff flows, including low-power verification, Formality (FM), GCA checks, and related validation methodologies.
• Deep understanding of advanced implementation and signoff concepts, including MMMC analysis, signal integrity, power integrity, extraction, and physical verification.
• Hands-on experience with Synopsys implementation and signoff tools such as Fusion Compiler, ICC2, PrimeTime, StarRC, ICV, VCLP, and Formality.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using TCL, Perl, Python, or similar languages.
• Proven track record leading and developing large engineering teams, with strong coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
