Job Summary

Synechron is seeking an AEP Developer to implement and support customer data platform solutions using Adobe Experience Platform. The role focuses on XDM, Real-Time Customer Profile, identity resolution, audience segmentation, Web SDK, Adobe Tags, and enterprise data integration.

Software Requirements

Required:

• Adobe Experience Platform, XDM, Datasets, Data Lake, Real-Time Customer Profile, Identity Service, and Segmentation Service
• Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK and Adobe Tags
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, REST APIs, and SQL
• Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Journey Optimizer, or Adobe Campaign integration
• Agile development and Git

Preferred:

• AEP APIs, event forwarding, streaming and batch ingestion
• CI/CD, cloud platforms, API testing, and monitoring tools

Overall Responsibilities

• Design and configure AEP schemas, datasets, profiles, identities, segments, and activation workflows.
• Implement Web SDK and Adobe Tags for digital data collection.
• Integrate AEP with enterprise systems, APIs, analytics, personalization, and campaign platforms.
• Validate data quality and troubleshoot ingestion, identity, segmentation, and activation issues.
• Support deployments, performance tuning, documentation, and production maintenance.
• Apply privacy, security, governance, and sustainable data-management practices.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Programming:
  Essential: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, REST APIs, and SQL.
  Preferred: TypeScript, Python, or Java.

• Data Management:
  Essential: XDM, data modeling, datasets, data ingestion, Real-Time Customer Profile, identity resolution, segmentation, and data governance.
  Preferred: Data lakes, cloud warehouses, consent management, and data lineage.

• Cloud Technologies:
  Essential: Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and secure integrations.
  Preferred: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Frameworks and Tools:
  Essential: AEP Web SDK, Adobe Tags, AEP APIs, and Adobe Experience Cloud integrations.
  Preferred: Event forwarding, CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring tools.

• Security:
  Essential: Data privacy, consent, authentication, authorization, HTTPS, and secure handling of customer data.
  Preferred: OAuth 2.0, access policies, masking, and retention controls.

Experience Requirements

• Typically 4–8 years of experience in AEP, digital analytics, marketing technology, CDP, or data implementation.
• Hands-on experience with AEP, XDM, Web SDK, Adobe Tags, identity, segmentation, APIs, and SQL.
• Experience supporting production deployments and troubleshooting data issues.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries is preferred.
• Equivalent technical experience, training, or relevant project work may be considered.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Review requirements and design AEP data solutions.
• Configure schemas, datasets, profiles, identities, segments, and integrations.
• Develop and test Web SDK and Adobe Tags implementations.
• Validate data using SQL, platform tools, logs, and test results.
• Participate in planning meetings, technical workshops, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare data mappings, test cases, technical documentation, and deployment plans.
• Make implementation decisions within approved architecture, security, and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Adobe AEP, Adobe Analytics, cloud, or data certifications are preferred.
• Completion of Synechron security, privacy, compliance, and role-specific training is required.
• Ongoing learning in AEP, Web SDK, data governance, APIs, and privacy is expected.
