As an ML Engineer trainee, you will have direct involvement with the AI initiatives that are core to Sword Health from scoping to productization significantly impacting Sword's AI products across all lines of business.
What you'll be doing:
- Contributing to the design, development, evaluation, deployment, and enhancement of Sword’s products through hands-on AI/ML development;
- Developing and maintaining data processing pipelines to gather the data required to build and evaluate models.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics;
- Knowledge of SQL and Python (including libraries such as numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, etc.);
- Ability to learn quickly and dive deep into new problems and fields;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Critical thinking and self-direction: you are aware of the team’s direction and goals, allowing you to prioritize and solve issues effectively;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
