Job Description

As part of a dynamic technology team, you will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of banking applications and systems. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions supporting banking operations and evolving business requirements.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL with solid problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong interest in banking and financial services.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications using Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and technical solutions.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, structure, documentation, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and technical standards.
• Support the maintenance and evolution of existing banking applications.
• Stay up to date with relevant technologies, development practices, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, application architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Interest in banking operations and financial systems; previous experience in banking or financial services is an advantage.
