Job Description

SWIVEL is seeking a talented individual to drive operational excellence and build appropriate programs to deliver excellent internal tooling, automation, and technical solutions for SWIVEL’s operations teams.

Why you'll love this role:

You have a passion for operational excellence, technical innovation, and quality execution. You thrive in complex environments where you can influence outcomes, drive strategic initiatives, and build scalable frameworks that support business growth. You are a strong communicator who can connect the dots across teams, translate strategy into action, and lead cross-functional efforts that improve operational maturity. You are a meticulous program manager who understands end-to-end business processes, embraces ownership, and enjoys creating structure, efficiency, and readiness for future growth. As part of the PMO team, you will play a key role in enabling new feature launches, operational readiness initiatives, and scalable solutions that support SWIVEL's long-term success.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Act as a bridge between operational teams, internal engineering resources, and third-party tool providers to build, improve, and manage internal tooling solutions.
  • Oversee a technical roadmap for internal tooling initiatives, including understanding prioritization, resourcing, and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate collaboration, establishing communication plans, coordinating stakeholders, tracking progress, identifying risks, stewarding frameworks and governance structures, and implementing solutions to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies through innovative solutions and best practices.
  • Analyze business processes, performance metrics, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Drive operational and technical goal-planning processes, establish status-tracking mechanisms, and communicate progress, risks, and priorities across the organization.
  • Operate effectively with minimal day-to-day direction, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a technology related field preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in Program Management, with a focus on Operations or Technology use cases.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Experience managing programs and projects involving executive-level stakeholders and organizational priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, business process improvement, governance, and change management initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes without direct authority and drive accountability across teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing business needs.
  • Experience creating executive communications, dashboards, status reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and related productivity tools.
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution excellence.
  • PMP certification or related project/program management certification is preferred.
  • Experience within the payments, financial services, money movement, card processing, or ACH industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with coding languages, technical systems, software development concepts, or data analytics tools is preferred.
  • Experience supporting feature launches, operational readiness programs, or PMO organizations is preferred.
  • Experience mentoring team members and promoting program management best practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations impacting financial services or payment-processing environments is preferred.
