Job Description
Sales Executive - Semiconductor Industry Focus
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to recruit, manage, and grow strategic relationships within the semiconductor industry ecosystem for SUSE Linux, Rancher Prime and Edge platforms. In this role, you will grow and drive existing revenue streams and net-new partnerships across North America by collaborating closely with SUSE's technical & marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and recruit net-new partners across the semiconductor industry ecosystem, including ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), equipment manufacturers, semiconductor fabrication companies and the semiconductor companies themselves.
- Achieve sales and revenue growth targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plan.
- Implement quarterly GTM strategies for named accounts within the semiconductor ecosystem
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute sales opportunities across the semiconductor value chain
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Sales experience in the semiconductor industry or related technology sectors.
- Consistent and proven success in quota-driven sales environments
- Experience in technical sales-driven relationships with a strong rolodex in this market.
- Deep knowledge of the North American semiconductor marketplace and technology trends
- Ability to build and maintain robust networks within SUSE and the semiconductor ecosystem
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with executives across the semiconductor value chain
- Proven business development experience in technology sectors related to semiconductor manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling software solutions.
- Open-source Linux or Kubernetes sales background relevant to semiconductor applications
- Understanding of the North American semiconductor industry's growth initiatives and challenges
The ideal candidate will have extensive enterprise sales experience in the semiconductor sector or related technology industries, a strong alliance and business development background, and in-depth knowledge of the North American semiconductor landscape.
