The Role

As a Data Engineer, you'll design and maintain the infrastructure that powers our AI data workflows and business analytics. You'll work closely with ML engineers, product teams, and operations to improve data processing, ensure integrity, and optimize efficiency. Our data systems are streamlined and focused rather than large-scale distributed systems, giving you direct ownership and visibility into the complete pipeline. This environment allows you to make meaningful improvements with immediate impact and gain valuable end-to-end experience across our entire data infrastructure. Our stack includes Snowflake, connectors like Fivetran, Airflow, Postgres, AWS, Python, and Ruby on Rails.

What We’re Looking for

• Data-Centric Mindset: Experience designing and maintaining structured and unstructured data pipelines.
• Efficiency & Reliability: Ability to optimize and improve data workflows without the need for massive infrastructure.
• Ownership & Impact: Excited to take initiative and drive improvements in a small, fast-moving team.
• Interest in AI & ML: While AI experience isn’t required, you’re eager to work with data that fuels next-gen AI models.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for AI training data and business analytics
• Optimize data storage solutions for performance and cost.
• Ensure data integrity, validation, and reliability across workflows.
• Build internal tools for data exploration, annotation, and monitoring.
• Implement security and best practices for handling sensitive data.
