Staff Salesforce Developer

This position is primarily remote, with occasional visits to a local office or our corporate headquarters for team-building, training, and collaborative project work. These on-site sessions are designed to strengthen connections, share insights, and ensure a seamless experience for our team and customers. Equipment pick-up from a local branch will be required. We will  provide advance notice whenever on-site attendance is required, making these times purposeful and rewarding.

Sunrun is on a mission to make solar energy affordable for more people. We help people upgrade their home to solar energy without the big upfront costs. Sunrun is dedicated residential solar company in the country and has a mission to bring clean, solar power service to the masses.

This position reports to our Lehi, UT office. May telecommute. Salary offered: $190,000/ year.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and implementation of scalable solutions.
• Design, develop, refactor, and enhance Salesforce applications.
• Collaboratively work with architects, engineers, and vendors to realize the total product vision as a comprehensive world-class solution.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, reviewing code and offering mentorship.
• Architect and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Design and optimize data models, workflows, and security configurations within Salesforce.
• Drive best practices for Salesforce development, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts, as appropriate.
• Create and follow processes and procedures to ensure maintainable application development, including source code management, automated build processes and appropriate documentation.
• Refactor complex integrations to simpler frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering &
• 5 years of experience as a Software Developer performing Salesforce Development.
• Must include at least 1 year of experience with Copado or similar CI/CD tool; integrating large systems and custom products; using Agile SCRUM; AEM implementations; using SDLC methodologies; interface architecture experience with on-premise/ SaaS packaged solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce or mobile; developing custom applications in Salesforce and extended Salesforce CRM offerings; and developing SMS functionality.
