Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor BI alerts, dashboards, and reports to detect anomalies or inconsistencies.
- Conduct thorough sanity checks and QA validation on data pipelines, reports, and analytics.
- Investigate suspicious trends, discrepancies, or missing data—be the first to raise red flags.
- Perform deep-dive analysis to determine root causes of data issues.
- Collaborate with BI developers and data engineers to ensure data integrity andconsistency.
- Maintain best practices for data quality assurance and documentation.
- Support business teams by verifying the accuracy of key reports before distribution.
- Work with stakeholders to identify potential reporting gaps and areas forimprovement.
- Be familiar with gaming events, promotions, and user behavior trends in a B2C environment to detect irregularities and optimize monitoring.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data-focused role (BI, Data Analysis or similar).
- Strong SQL skills—you should be comfortable writing complex queries and debugging data issues.
- Experience with cloud-based BI tools (GCP/AWS) Advantage for BigQuery, Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
- A detail-oriented mindset—you spot inconsistencies before anyone else.
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and a detective-like approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with B2C environments and user behavior trends, bonus for gaming.
