Job Description:

This role is responsible for analyzing and optimizing business processes, defining requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance user experience, improve operational efficiencies, and deliver impactful AI solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Define Business Needs: Lead and facilitate discussions to ensure that business and functional requirements are well-articulated and effectively address organizational goals, identify high-value AI opportunities across business processes

• Frame Business Value: Assess business pain points, expected benefits, feasibility, risks, and adoption readiness

• Document Requirements: Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases for system implementation and operational processes.

• Enhance Practices: Apply and contribute to business analysis practices, templates, and reusable methods for AI and digital delivery

• Governance and Quality Assurance: Manage change requests while adhering to project governance standards, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Proactive Recommendations: Offer actionable insights and recommendations to business and product owners to drive continuous improvement.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, external vendors, and partners to implement system enhancements that meet business needs.

• Training and Support: Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

• Assist in preparing engagement activities to promote AI in department and enterprise context

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably in Information System, Computer Science or Engineering discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in the life insurance industry, with a strong focus on business analysis or related roles.

• Agile methodology / scrum certification is preferred.

• Experience with AI delivery, proof of concept, pilot, or production implementation is preferred.

• Experience with consulting firm is preferred.

Preferred skills

• In-depth knowledge of life insurance client operations

• Understanding of AI, generative AI, automation, and agentic workflow concepts.

• Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled use cases and measurable outcomes.

• Ability to define acceptance criteria for AI-generated outputs and human review processes.

• Strong business analysis skills, including gathering requirements, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

• Proven experience in producing related artifacts, e.g. BRD, User Stories, Experience Journey, Value Map.

• Comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies such as Scrum and Agile.

• Familiarity with business processes and change management practices.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
