Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand the current technology landscape, build the architecture blueprint of the current capabilities, and establish the architecture document standard and governance

• Derive and Own the enterprise information/data target architecture blueprint, and work out the roadmap to bring Sun Life from the current blueprint to the target one.

• Partner with HK business to understand the business needs and provide solution options. 

• Work with infrastructure, application, and security teams to establish a short term and long term detail action plan to put the roadmap into execution.

• Establish strong relationship with Regional and Corporate Architecture team to align on the target information/data architecture blueprint and roadmap for Hong Kong.

• Manage architecture approval for Hong Kong (PTAB, RTAB and ETAB)

Job Requirements:

• University Graduate and above from Information Technology discipline
• 10+ years of experience in IT, 5 years work as architect
• Experience in building Architecture Blueprints
• Experience in presenting and gathering Architecture Blueprints / Solution approval from Local, Regional, and Corporate Architecture Review Committees
• Strong communication, collaboration, and inter-personnel skills
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills to get buy-ins from the business stakeholders and Regional and Corporate Architects
• Able to think out of the box in architecture design and resolving conflicts
• Keep update on market information and stay update on the latest technology trend on architecture
• Extensive knowledge in Data Architecture subject areas, with practical experience in Master Data Management, Reference Data Standards, Data Modeling, BI Modeling.
• Experience in implementation of large-scale data architecture solutions in cloud infrastructure of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Ali Cloud.
• Strong in designing information/data architecture for large scale projects
• Solid experience in AWS managed data services (RDS, Dynamo, etc.)
• Solid experience in mainstream database, datawarehouse or datalake technology (RedShift, Databrick, Snowflake, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience in Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud architecture design
• Good understanding with data visualization and reporting tools.
• Sound experience with event-driven architecture, DevOps, DevSecOps.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English
• Experience in data architecture or insurance would be an added advantage
• TOGAF or relevant is highly preferred
• Candidate with less experience will consider as Senior Manager, Architecture
