Tax Analyst I

Team Description

Our tax team plays a critical role in ensuring the company’s compliance with current tax legislation, while continuously improving processes to support business growth. The team operates with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and problem-solving, with members who thrive in dynamic environments. We are a collaborative and results-driven team, directly reporting to the Tax Coordinator to promote individual growth and streamline operations.

What you’ll do

• Perform monthly closing routines for indirect and withholding taxes, ensuring proper classification, bookkeeping, and delivery of obligations.
• Identify and recommend areas for process improvement and automation within accounting.
• Support the team in issuing manual electronic invoices and responding to internal support cases.
• Assist in maintaining internal controls, including tax actions, notifications, and controlling supplier payments.
• Collaborate with different teams on process improvement and automation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of implemented systems.

You’ll be great for this role if

• You have strong Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
• You have experience in tax compliance and monthly closing routines, preferably in indirect and withholding taxes.
• You can identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to streamline workflows.
• You have a critical-thinking mindset and can solve problems independently while working with teams to implement solutions.
• You have the ability to adapt to changes, particularly related to tax reform.
