About the team:

We’re looking for a motivated Lead Salesforce Developer to join our Berlin chapter. In this role, you’ll enhance our Salesforce Developer career growth framework, supporting our engineers and nurturing our talent. You’ll ensure that our Developers adhere to Salesforce best practices and remove obstacles, allowing them to focus on delivering value within their squads.

As part of an international team, you’ll ensure that all Cloud Services (Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Contact Centers) align with our global business needs. We seek someone dedicated to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering high-quality products.

Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure our Salesforce configurations are scalable, reusable, and aligned with Salesforce and industry best practices.

 

What you’ll do

  • Train, coach, and mentor Salesforce Developers throughout their projects.
  • Prepare and provide training sessions and facilitate knowledge exchanges with Salesforce Developers.
  • Collaborate globally with other chapter leads.
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and scalability of Salesforce as a platform from a programmatic perspective.
  • Work closely with the technical team to act as a bridge between the business and IT teams.

 

You’ll be great for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience as a full-stack developer with a strong background in building web applications.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or Consultant, working across companies of various sizes and stages (startups, SMBs, large corporations).
  • Excellent people management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • The ability to stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, identify new features and improvements, and take the initiative to advise on or lead their implementation.
  • An energetic, positive attitude and comfort engaging with people at multiple levels in projects and meetings.
  • Experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment.
  • The ability to thrive in a complex work environment and enjoy working independently.

Any of the following would be considered a big plus:

  • Experience in other Salesforce features and systems (Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Heroku), or integrated services (Web Services, Call Centers)
  • Experience in Backend Development
  • Experience with databases, middleware and ETL tools
  • Active in the Salesforce community
