Senior Backend Software Engineer - Online Store

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer working in the Booking team, you will be working on further developing and building our newest tool for the merchants that will enable them to manage their calendars and appointments.

What you’ll do:

• actively participate in planning and reviewing sessions on quarter and sprint levels by providing constructive feedback and estimations
• actively participate in technical decisions
• implement features following defined requirements in a way that is optimized for the best team productivity
• monitor existing services and fix them if needed

You’ll be great for this role if:

• You have 3+ years of experience with JVM-based languages
• You have 1+ year experience in Kotlin
• You have experience in working with Spring Boot
• You have experience with distributed systems
• You have experience in cloud-based environments (we use AWS)
• You have experience with observability tools like Grafana, Honeycomb or similar
• You have experience with Kafka
• You worked with continuous integration tools like GitHub Actions
• You are a team and value-driven engineer

The following would be considered a plus:

• You have experience with Postgres
• You have experience with Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• You have experience in multithreading and performance optimisation
