Project Manager, PLG

The Project Manager, PLG position will report into the SVP, Growth and be responsible for ensuring the flow and rhythm of projects moves through all teams associated with the Product-leg Growth organization. You will align growth marketers, inside sales reps, product managers, content creators, developers and sales operations team members to PLG priorities in order to maximize team output and efficiency so we can attract the greatest number of new users to our free trial. You will work cross-functionally with PLG, Marketing, Sales, Product and Operations and deliver reporting used to make resource decisions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Guide work through the PLG team, track, manage and execute on PLG projects.
    • Lead prioritization meetings with leadership, as well as weekly check-ins and planning meetings with all PLG cross functional team members.
    • Communicate needs, timelines, and feedback between stakeholders to drive action. Monitor projects plans, updates and statuses.
    • Facilitate, manage, schedule and conduct project kick-off meetings to scope requests and ideal outcomes; manage project check-in meetings to ensure deliverables are on track and roadblocks are removed.
    • Identify and report back potential project roadblocks. Recommend alternatives to stakeholders.
    • Create individual Asana tasks with stakeholders needed to complete projects and manage internal resources for the execution of projects.
  • Manage and administer our Asana board and workflow. Set up and run our Agile/Scrum methodology. 
  • Lead PLG team sprint planning meetings and agile process adoption. 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work on time
  • Contribute meaningfully to team meetings by bringing forth workflow issues and providing solution ideas. 
  • Partner with leadership to manage prioritization, buy-in, cross-functional socialization, resourcing and cross-team collaboration
  • Measure PLG work capacity and provide feedback on bandwidth availability
  • Partner with date teams to create throughput monitoring, team capacity and retro data at the team and individual level. 

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 4-6 years experience experience in project management for marketing, PLG or product
  • BS/BA or equivalent expertise and business acumen derived from experience
  • Attention to detail and exceptionally organized; process-oriented
  • Ability to gracefully juggle multiple tasks on multiple timelines with challenging conflicts of interest 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal
  • Level-headed when unforeseen circumstances arise 
  • Ability to translate ambiguity into concise direction and expectation
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing techniques and methodologies
  • Jira, Asana, Trello or similar experience 
  • Project Management Institute and/or Agile Scrum Certified
  • Advanced Google Workplace tools skill

 

Desirable Skills

  • Desire to contribute to a culture as well as a team process. Understanding of the critical role process plays in culture 
  • Experience in the Developer Tools category or Product-Led Growth team environment
  • Desire to grow into a career in operations, project management and related field with strong interest in cultural development.

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $127,000 - $172,000. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) such as role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, and equity awards.
