Job Summary
The (Mechanical) Engineering Specialist is responsible for researching, designing, and developing mechanical systems and components. This role applies advanced engineering knowledge to support the development and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
This job profile is intended for specialist professionals that apply advanced knowledge of a job area. Required to manage projects / processes independently with limited supervision. Typically coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.

Purpose of the Job:

As a Senior E&I Engineer, you will participate at the Sulzer projects execution at all execution stages (Conceptual design, Skid and Modular design, DD, Procurement / Construction / Commissioning support and et.) within discipline and responsible.

Senior E&I Engineer reports to the Chief E&I Engineer and/or Engineering Manager.

主要任务与职责:

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Execute detail engineering of instrument design for process plant modular skids, including wiring line diagrams, instruments, panel and PLC control specifications.

• Prepare technical specifications for inquiry, issuing requisition for instruments, related items and subcontracting work.

• Preparation and design of Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, in conjunction with Process Engineers

• Preparation of process plant operating control philosophy, including alarm and interlocking trip matrix in conjunction with Process Engineers

• Develop SIS, SIF and SIL

• Participate in HAZOP for process plant

• Review and approve subcontractor engineering documents, including instrument calculation, selection and PLC programming subcontractor.

• Supervision and support of subcontractors' activities

• Technical support for costing of skid projects.

• Support receiving inspection of project E&I items.

• Technical support for workshop skid assembly.

• Material selection within discipline

• Value engineering within discipline

• Interface management between disciplines

• Participation in the development of design philosophy and internal standards within the discipline

• Participation in the project meetings, 3D models review etc.

• Contribute to development of the overall project schedule.

• Tracking and managing changes within discipline

• Participation in the project progress report development.

职位要求：

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor in Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering

• 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industries.

• Good knowledge of applicable industrial standards and best practices. (China & International)

• Good knowledge of designing methods and economic analysis.

• Good knowledge of skid and modular design

• General knowledge of oil and gas plant construction.

Language

• Fluent in Mandarin and English

Others

• Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple tasks.

• Ability to work in multiple projects.

• Ability to travel on business trips including lengthy business trips to site during construction and commissioning.
