Subsets (YC S23) is an early-stage startup building the future of AI-driven subscription growth. As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll join the early team to build the scalable infrastructure that powers CRM and lifecycle insights for millions of subscribers.
What you will do
build and maintain backend services that integrate with third-party CRM APIs (HubSpot, Braze, Sailthru, etc.).
own and develop new features from conception to deployment, ensuring reliability and scalability for our integration ecosystem
implement and improve data sync processes between our core system and external CRMs to ensure data integrity.
deepen integration functionality to unlock new product capabilities for our customers.
ensure integrations are reliable and data stays correct by adding proper validation, monitoring, and error handling.
work in a lean, high-performing team where you will have a significant impact and assume high levels of responsibility.
Tech Stack
backend: .NET 10, Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL, Hangfire, Redis.
frontend: React.js, Vite, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui.
infrastructure & CI/CD: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, GitHub Actions.
You may be a good fit if
(required) you have proficiency with .NET and Entity Framework Core.
(required) you have experience building and maintaining robust 3rd party API integrations.
you have experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design) and event-driven data architecture.
you have PostgreSQL (or general SQL) expertise and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
you have a strong bias toward action and the ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, loosely defined environments.
you have an "anti-meeting" culture mindset and value focused work time.
location: This is a Copenhagen-based onsite role — we believe the best ideas happen together, in person.
