We seek a DevSecOps Engineer* to join our global Cloud Operations team. This role is centered on building, optimizing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while ensuring robust security practices are integrated throughout the DevOps lifecycle.

You will collaborate with our engineering and security teams to enhance performance, streamline deployments, and implement security best practices across our cloud environments.

Essential Functions

• Be part of our international ARIS Cloud Operations team.

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud environments (AWS, Azure) tailored to the needs of our customers.

• Use infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and management while ensuring compliance with industry-specific standards.

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize our CD pipelines for faster, secure deployments while ensuring continuous delivery with minimal disruption.

• Manage cloud monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to ensure system health, performance, and cost efficiency.

• Implement and enforce stringent security best practices and policies for our cloud environments.

• Collaborate with our trust team to ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks)

• Monitor and respond to security threats using logging, monitoring, and SIEM tools.

• Support incident response efforts by analyzing security logs, alerts, and remediation strategies.

• Stay updated with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively defend our environment against advanced threats.

• Provide ongoing security awareness training for development, operations, and security teams to enhance their understanding of security best practices and tools.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cyber security, information technology, or related field.

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Previous experience through academic projects or internships is a plus.

• Experience automating tasks using scripting languages like Python or Bash. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform is a plus.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to approach complex security and infrastructure issues with a structured mindset.

• Understanding of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and security logging.

• Comfortable working in a team, collaborating with developers, security teams, and support engineers.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Demonstrated interest in DevOps, security practices, and cloud technologies.

• Enthusiasm to develop skills in a fast-paced, security-focused, cloud-based environment.

Nice to Haves

• Understanding of ARIS product’s architecture and product functionality.

• Strong interest or experience in AI and machine learning. Exposure to using AI models for tasks like anomaly detection, predictive security analysis, or threat modeling. Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras is a plus.

• Knowledge of AI-driven security tools for vulnerability scanning, threat detection, and intrusion prevention, including machine learning-based malware analysis.
