Frontend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join us in a hybrid setting in Amsterdam (3 days per week in the office), who will be part of our team that continuously builds and maintains our website, demos, dashboard and documentation.

What you will be doing

As a Frontend Developer, you will primarily focus on the development of the previously mentioned products, working closely with the front-end lead, other engineers and the design team, to implement new features that improve the user experience of those using the products.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure features are implemented correctly and with an eye for detail
  • Pixel-perfect implementation of design by close collaboration
  • Focus on reusability, performance, user experience and SEO
  • Improve and build upon multiple of our front-end related products
  • Think strategically about technical improvements, structure and refactoring

About You

You’re an engineer who deeply appreciates design and consistency. You can faithfully implement a design built in Figma, giving meaningful feedback and even making changes to the design yourself if necessary. You are a team player who enjoys figuring out solutions to complex problems. You have a feeling for design and can translate design to product. You are familiar with the latest technologies in frontend development and love to stay up to date with the latest developments.

You are detail-oriented, mindful of deadlines, and you have a high sense of responsibility. At Stream, we strive to provide the best possible product and service to our clients, and we expect the same from you!

You have

  • 4+ years experience with React
  • Expert in semantic HTML, modern CSS, and accessibility
  • Experience in building intuitive user interfaces with an eye for design
  • Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript best practices
  • Delivering well-structured, maintainable code
  • Worked with data management and APIs
  • Visual examples that showcase your best work

Don’t fall into all of the requirements? You don’t have to match every bullet point as long as you can grow into the role and provide value to the team.

Bonus points

  • Experience with Next.js and Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with optimizing frontend performance
  • Experience with automated testing tools
  • Experience with (micro) animations
