Business Controller

We are a dynamic tech business with a team of around 100 people, dedicated to developing and selling innovative SaaS products. We are looking for a talented Business Controller to join our team and play a crucial role in driving our financial and operational success.

As a Business Controller, you will partner with stakeholders of our two SaaS products, working closely with the Finance Director to transform financial and operational data into actionable business insights. Your expertise will help guide strategic decisions and drive growth within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders of our SaaS products to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with the Finance Director to analyze financial and operational data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting.
• Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance financial performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
