YOUR ROLE : APPLICATION AND VALIDATION ENGINEER

The Application Team of the ADAS and Infotainment Division (MDRF Group) is selecting a new engineer to support the strategy for the growth of this important segment of the Automotive market. 

The candidate will reinforce the existing staff, as part of a broader team in charge of HW/SW integration, SoC Validation, Board development and customer support for different product lines, like Navigation Systems, Audio Amplifiers and Battery Chargers for Electrical Vehicles with particular focus on the latter segment.

He/she will be involved in different projects, cooperating with his primary interlocutors (SW and R&D Design teams), Marketing and he will be exposed to joint activity with the customers and Field Application Engineers in the Regions.

We would like to meet an Electronic Engineer with previous experiences in this role, with knowledge of Microprocessors, Firmware, C Language and Lab Measurement. In addition, past experience in Battery Chargers for Electrical Vehicles is considered a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Master Degree in Electronic Engineering
• C programming languages and embedded OS (Linux, Free RTOS) in ARM architectures 
• Software toolchain and use of debugging strategies (with emulators like Lauterbach or similar)
• System-level expertise in the area of Power Line Communication (PLC) and HPGP protocol and Vehicle to Grid (V2G) 
• Functional and electric tests for validation
• Board design and prototyping
• English business proficiency

ADDITIONAL WISHED SKILLS

• FPGA design and development with Xilinx Vivado tool
• Basic knowledge of VHDL or Verilog and simulations
• Knowledge of standard buses (SPI, I2C, I2S, Ethernet, CAN ...)
• Digital Signal Processing 
• Graphical User Interface development (QT Language

Finally, the candidate will be fast-learner, independent, able to work within interdisciplinary groups.

Since the Application Team is split in Agrate and Castelletto the selected candidates could be allocated in both sides.
