Job Description

Join our team and you’ll be responsible for shaping the architecture and implementation of our integrations with large Enterprise systems. 

Working in the Apply and Connect Portfolio you will advise and shape Product direction, mentor and grow the talent of the team, and collaborate with other Staff and Principal Engineers across the company.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the design of robust solutions, apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles, and continuously refine your architectural skills 

• Collaboratively work with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to ensure robust architectures, scalable designs, and judicious toolset selections 

• Align technical projects with business goals, participate in product planning, and offer insights into architectural strategies 

• Mentor team members, foster a culture of continuous learning, and enable team success through design and code reviews 

• Provide Engineering Insight for the Engineering Director and VP of Engineering 

• Develop, support, test, and monitor the products within your scope 

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java projects, strong knowledge about Java (17+) and Spring frameworks 

• Experience as a Senior Engineer, Staff Engineer, or equivalent in your current or previous role 

• Practical experience in system and process design, where you can own the entire design of a system. 

• Strong experience in implementing public APIs and consuming third party APIs. 

• Experience with and the ability to both implement and explain BDD and DDD 

• Strong knowledge about Test Pyramid - Unit, Component, Integration, E2E testing 

• Practical knowledge in modern architecture, design patterns and coding principles. 

• Experience developing, deploying, and orchestrating containers, optimizing Cloud environment costs, and managing other facets of AWS.
