Job Description

Join our team where you can expect fully automated Data Platform based on Data Mesh principles with streaming (Kafka) in its core. Our goals are the following: enable Data Domains with easy-to-use tools and automated processes, empower Data Ownership, Data available everywhere, self-serve, Data security by design, Data Governance. To help the organization to have the same understanding of the business and also remove data isolation. To create a source of truth with trusted data, to speed-up discovery using data, to speed-up data science and analytics activities.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, implementation and maintainance of our Data Platform infrastructure using technologies such as Kafka, Kafka Streams, Terraform and JVM languages
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop and maintain CI/CD processes to automate deployment and testing of data platform components
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in data engineering and architecture

Qualifications

• High proficiency in programming languages such as Java and optionaly Scala
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Proven experience and deep understanding of Apache Kafka
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, also knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
