Job Description:
• The successful candidate will join the data warehouse team responsible for leveraging technology to integrate data using the IBM DataStage, Oracle , Teradata and Cognos software in support of the enterprise data warehouse.
Candidates will:
• Acts as a liaison for data related strategies and architectures between Tech Ops IT and Enterprise IT team
• Works in conjunction with Data Management team members to gather business requirements and converts them to technical solutions.
• Helps to define and achieve the Data Strategy roadmap for Tech Ops
• Develops Data Strategies to meet the immediate and long-term needs of business customers
• Ensures data accuracy that meets organizational quality and integrity standards
• Provides input on data architecture and data modeling efforts to ensure a successful implementation
• Leads and consults on the implementation and integration of data warehouses
• Establishes standards and guidelines for the design & development, tuning, deployment and maintenance of information and BI, advanced data analytics and Big Data.
• Coordinates with Business Intelligence/Reporting teams to communicate changes on the warehouse
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Recommends technology or process improvements to management
• Ensures data strategy is follow across Tech Ops IT Organization
