Stantec’s multi-disciplinary office in Tallahassee, Florida has an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer – Site / Civil Engineering. We are seeking a candidate with experience in professional practice and design related to land development/community development. This position may be based in Tallahassee, Tampa, Orlando or Jacksonville, Florida

This position will be involved with significant projects, interact with clients and government agencies and effectively working with a team. Responsibilities include design and preparation of site, grading, drainage, erosion control and utility plans as well as design reports. Your Key Responsibilities

• Engage in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
• Utilize AutoCAD / Civil 3D in development of site plans, utility plans and grading plans. 
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.
• Participate in client project meetings.
• Assist senior engineers/designers with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of the project specifications with construction documents.
• Perform and oversee the performance of calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
• Participate in constructability review.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews on projects.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently.
