Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer to be a part of our growing Raleigh, NC design team. An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Bridge Engineer, who wants to be a part of a dynamic Transportation group. Our people are Stantec’s most valuable resource, and in joining our team you will be able to leverage your career experiences and expertise in bridge design to contribute to the growth of the Bridge Group and Stantec.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Preparing structural design calculations, plans and contract documents in accordance with applicable design and agency standards (i.e. AASHTO, ACI, AISC, NCDOT, etc.).
- Develop plan submissions for all manner of structural transportation projects.
- Performing structural analysis of new designs and existing structures (bridges and other transportation structures).
- Leading and reviewing conceptual design alternatives to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
- Potentially performs inspection of simple and complex bridges along with preparing the inspection reports.
