Senior Director of Product - Gen AI

As a Product Owner for Gen AI Initiatives, you will be at the forefront of driving transformative projects leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML). This role demands a seasoned professional who not only possesses a solid background in data science and AI but also has extensive experience as a product owner in digital or data and analytics space. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, fostering innovation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives while focusing on enhancing customer experiences and optimizing employee productivity.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and personal traits:

• Strategic Leadership: Drive the vision and strategy for Gen AI initiatives, aligning them with overarching business goals. Lead the development of product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements to maximize business value.
• Technical Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of data science, AI, and ML to guide the development of innovative solutions. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our initiatives remain at the forefront of innovation.
• Product Ownership: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and other relevant stakeholders. Own the product backlog, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities.
• Clarity Amid Ambiguity: Thrive in environments where ambiguity is prevalent, leveraging your analytical skills to create clarity and direction. Translate complex requirements into actionable tasks for the development team.
• Innovative Thinking: Bring a fresh perspective to the table, constantly challenging conventional thinking and driving out-of-the-box solutions. Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging experimentation and creativity.
• Collaborative Approach: Foster strong collaboration between business and technology teams, facilitating effective communication and knowledge sharing. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Focus on Outcomes: Maintain a sharp focus on business outcomes, ensuring that each initiative delivers tangible value to the organization. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and iterate on strategies to drive continuous improvement.
• Customer Experience and Employee Productivity: Champion efforts to enhance customer experiences through personalized, data-driven solutions. Additionally, prioritize initiatives that improve employee productivity and efficiency, ultimately driving greater organizational success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner in digital or data and analytics space, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Strong background in data science, AI, and ML, with hands-on experience in applying these technologies to solve real-world problems.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Innovative mindset with a demonstrated ability to think creatively and drive out-of-the-box solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong focus on business outcomes, customer experience, and employee productivity.
• Agile or Scrum certification is a plus.
