Spreetail is looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team. As a Software Engineer II, you will work independently on moderately complex tasks across backend and data domains. You’ll build, optimize, and maintain services and pipelines that power our next-gen advertising platform. What experiences will help you in this role:

2-5 years of backend development: Proficiency in Python; experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
Modern Data Stack: Experience with DBT, Snowflake, S3, or AWS Glue. You know how to modify and optimize data transformations.
Distributed Systems: Practical experience with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL – especially in scalable, production contexts.
Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize services and queries for speed and reliability.
API Development: Experience building performant APIs to serve large datasets.
