Engineering Manager

On a daily basis you will:

• Lead an engineering team to execute product roadmaps and produce quality deliverables effectively 
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers (i.e. product, design, sales, support) and use strategic influence to shape product vision 
• Identify blind spots and prioritize across teams, projects, product features and ad-hoc needs
• Ensure work is structured for incremental / iterative delivery (to production)
• Actively develop teams and create collaborative and open environment (level up teams)
• Ensure exceptional day to day execution, minimizing waste work, and representing team’s needs to senior technical leadership
• Recruit top-notch technical talent 
• Guide architectural conversations to solve complex technical challenges
• Drive release process and deploy reliable products that are instrumented with logging, monitoring and alerting
• Hypothesize, measure and learn. Continuously test and leverage insights to inform decisions
• Be able to put yourself in our customer's shoes everyday
• Managing 1-3 teams (both backend and front-end engineers)

What skill are we searching for?

• 6+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of experience managing software teams (as a Leader or a Manager)
• Having deep technical expertise in several areas 
• Experience delivering complex powerful products that are made simple for our users
• Have brought services and products to market and have experience working with SaaS companies
• An analytical and metrics-driven work style that leverages data to make informed decisions
• Familiarity with Agile methodology 
• Understanding of CI/CD (trunk-based development)
• Can do attitude and full ownership of team outcomes 

Nice to haves:

• Data exploration and presentation skills
• Basic knowledge of Golang and React
• Familiarity with CircleCi 
• Basic knowledge of AWS
• Familiarity with Github Actions
