Spotify is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to manage the end-to-end workflow of baked-in podcast advertising reads across multiple shows. This role serves as the central point of coordination between podcast talent, producers, management teams, and client-facing project management vendors. You will excel at managing multiple deadlines, maintaining clear communication channels, and ensuring smooth delivery of ad reads while adapting to different talent preferences and workflows. Additionally, this role requires hands-on experience with audio and video editing to assist in ad insertion when needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage master booking calendar for podcast ad recordings, ensuring optimal scheduling and timely delivery of all baked-in ad reads
  • Coordinate between three vendor project management teams to track incoming ad requests and delivery deadlines
  • Maintain up-to-date project status in Asana, including tracking deliverables, deadlines, and communication threads
  • Distribute ad scripts to talent through their preferred communication channels (email or Asana) and ensure receipt confirmation
  • Follow up with talent and producers to confirm recording dates and times, managing any scheduling conflicts or changes
  • Track completed recordings and verify proper delivery to relevant project management teams
  • Identify and proactively address potential bottlenecks or scheduling conflicts that could impact delivery timelines
  • Provide regular status updates to all stakeholders regarding project progress and any potential delays
  • Maintain organized documentation of communication preferences, special requirements, and processes for each show/talent

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in media, audio, or advertising
  • Proficiency with Asana or similar project management tools
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor when working with talent
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through capabilities
  • Experience with calendar management and scheduling across multiple time zones
  • Ability to adapt communication style based on stakeholder preferences
  • Understanding of podcast production workflows (preferred)
  • Proficiency with audio editing software (Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of video editing software for video podcast content
  • Experience with Megaphone or similar podcast hosting platforms

Where You’ll Be

  • This position will be based in Los Angeles
The United States base range for this position is $75,737 - $108,196 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
