 “Sportradar ad:s” provides data-driven marketing and sponsorship services to the iGaming industry, designed to help deliver significant efficiency improvements for marketing investments. The ad:s team develops and provides purpose-built tools and services to meet the individual marketing needs of sportsbooks and media publishers worldwide.  

From a technical standpoint, our product consists of multiple microservices that are hosted entirely in a cloud environment, with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) used for orchestration. As an engineering team, we're committed to finding the best solutions for any given challenge, and currently, we rely heavily on AWS Lambda and Step Functions to run our code, while using Amazon RDS and DocumentDB to store our data. To enable communication between our services, we use Amazon SNS and SQS, which provides us with a robust and scalable messaging system. 

THE ROLE: 

As a Software Engineer - Paid Search ad:s (m/f/d) at Sportradar, you will be tackling all aspects of the software stack, from API design to front-end UI. Become part of a cross-functional team and take on the responsibility for delivering functional excellence and value to the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Contribute and grow as part of a self-organized, agile software development team 
  • Build our advertising technologies - from understanding the requirements to creating a fully functional UI
  • Design and craft highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems, while keeping your focus on quality, observability and security
  • Support and develop team members by providing feedback and guidance
  • Team up to extend and maintain together a safe and fun working environment 
  • Be a trusted member of your team, fostering a strong culture of collaboration and best practices in the software development lifecycle.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Past proven professional experience with web development technologies like TypeScript, especially using Node.js and one Frontend Framework (e.g. Vue.js)  
  • Proven professional experience in an agile/lean development environment
  • Passion for clean code and testing
  • Strong consumer focus, ownership and communication 
  • Strong understanding and implementation of cloud-native architectures (AWS serverless and/or containers preferred) at scale in production (or a strong desire to learn this and gain these skills).
  • Experience with System Design and Architecture, developing and building large-scale systems.
  • Experience utilizing databases, SQL or NoSQL
  • Keen Interest in new technologies and learning  
  • Willingness to practice TDD

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
