Our division, “Sportradar Marketing Services” provides data-driven marketing and sponsorship services to the industry, designed to help deliver significant efficiency improvements for marketing investments. The ad:s team develops and provides purpose-built tools and services to meet the individual marketing needs of sports-interested organisations and media publishers worldwide.

From a technical perspective, we create and manage data cleanrooms using Python on AWS. We deploy to AWS Lambdas for our APIs, which connect to Amazon DynamoDB for handling mutable data. Big data volumes are stored on S3 and transferred to external services as needed. All infrastructure is managed as code (IaC) using Terraform. 

THE ROLE 
As a Senior Python Software Engineer (m/f/d) on FanID at Sportradar, you will work on various parts of the software stack, contributing to development, testing and documentation. You’ll be part of a collaborative cross-functional team and play a crucial role in delivering quality software that provides business value. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Build and maintain our cloud-native product, from requirements gathering to creating fully functional user-facing software  
• Contribute to technical architecture 
• Participate in designing and developing data-driven, intelligent, and scalable systems while keeping your focus on quality, observability, and security 
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders 
• Apply best practices throughout the software development lifecycle  

YOUR PROFILE:   

• 3+ years of professional experience in agile software development (Python)
• Professional experience developing in at least one high-level programming language 
• Professional experience analyzing complex datasets using Pandas, NumPy, etc. 
• Passion for clean code and testing  
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns  
• Keen interest in new technologies and learning  
• Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.

Due to the top inner-city location, we are excellently connected to the public transport network and the cycle path network and are therefore very easy to reach.
