OVERVIEW:

We're currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Innovation team on working brand-new products in Sportradar’s portfolio. 

In the Innovation team we launch, develop, validate, and lead new product ideas using cutting-edge technologies in areas such as computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, data science, and beyond. One of the products is QuickBets - the microbetting application that processes data collected by our Computer Vision system and generates odds. Due to reducing time between bet placements and calculation the betting process is faster and engager for users.

The product team contains approximately 10 members spread across different locations. Our team consists of Software Engineers (2 frontend engineers), Data Scientists, a QA Specialist, and a Product Owner. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to increase the speed of delivery of new functionality and improve the quality of the product.

 

We currently use the following technologies:

  • Core: TypeScript (v5.4.5+)
  • Vue Ecosystem: Vue 3, Vue Router, Pinia, Vue I18n, VueUse
  • Requests: OpenAPI (Swagger integration), Axios (for specific requests)
  • Builder: Vite (incl. Terser)
  • Linters: ESLint, Prettier
  • Styles: SASS (SCSS) Preprocessor
  • Analytics: New Relic
  • Video streaming: Hls.js, Nanocosmos
  • Version control: Gitlab, Building and Deploying: Gitlab pipeline

 

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using the Vue ecosystem, OpenApi, and modern builders.
  • Ensuring code quality and consistency using ESLint and Prettier.
  • Monitoring application performance and analytics using New Relic.
  • Implementing video streaming features using Hls.js and Nanocosmos.
  • Maintaining high code quality standards.
  • Participating in and conducting code reviews through Pull (Merge) Requests.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • 4+ years of experience in frontend development using Vue.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Experience with the Vue ecosystem, including Vue 3, Vue Router, Pinia, Vue I18n, and VueUse.
  • Experience with ESLint and Prettier for code linting and formatting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with API integration using OpenAPI.
  • Knowledge of video streaming technologies like Hls.js and Nanocosmos.
