We are looking for you to fill the role of Python Backend Developer to join the team of talented developers and 2D/3D artists to create engaging products using C++ and Python.  

The revolution of live sports data capture makes augmented streaming a reality which opens up completely new ranges of engaging sports fans. Examples include gamification of sports broadcast content, and enhancing betting experience with augmentations. 

THE CHALLENGE:  

• Build and maintain our cloud-native product, from requirements gathering to creating fully functional user-facing software
• Plan and develop new features for products in collaboration with the development team using Python.  
• Refactor and enhance the current code base using modern developing approaches as well as the latest Python standard features. 
• Participate in designing and developing data-driven, intelligent, and scalable systems while keeping your focus on quality, observability, and security
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders
• Apply best practices throughout the software development lifecycle

YOUR PROFILE:  

• Past proven experience in agile software development as a Python Backend developer
• Knowledge of C++, FFmpeg, and GPU programming is not mandatory but would be advantageous. 
• Professional experience analyzing complex datasets using Pandas, NumPy, etc.
• Nice to have experience with Docker, Gitlab CI/CD, OpenCV, ZeroMQ 
• Passion for clean code and testing
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Keen interest in new technologies and learning
• Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS
• Good command of written and spoken English (German and Russian languages would be a plus).
