Sportradar is a global leader in understanding and leveraging the power of sports data for hundreds of business customers around the world, in turn entertaining millions of sports enthusiasts.  Computer vision is rapidly becoming one of the core technologies powering sports data collection across Sportradar’s products for sports media, sports betting and coaching.

 

We are looking for an experienced back-end developer to join our computer vision engineering team working on Sportradar's cloud-native, low latency computer vision inference infrastructure.  As a back-end developer within Sportradar's AI unit, you will work with an experienced team of data scientists, developers and dev-ops engineers developing innovative infrastructure solutions powering computer vision, machine learning and data analytics workloads. 

 

The Challenge

  • Research, design, development, deployment and day-to-day operations of proprietary solutions for real-time, low latency computer vision processing hosted in AWS cloud.
  • Collaborate and support our team of computer vision researchers with the integration and productization of computer vision models.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our technology stack and technical architectures powering computer vision and AI workloads as part of a growing team of talented developers, data scientists, data engineers already dedicated to this mission.

 

Your Profile

  • Advanced knowledge of programming in Python with demonstrable hands-on experience developing production grade solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with containers and container orchestration frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Must be comfortable with modern software development methodologies such as agile development, git, CI/CD, code review, etc..
  • Bonus: Experience with development in Golang and/or Java.
  • Bonus: Demonstrated experience with productization of CV/ML models.
  • Bonus: Understanding of machine learning / deep learning concepts and some hands on experience with machine learning or computer vision using deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow, MXNet).
  • Bonus: DevOps experience (hands-on experience with the design, set-up and administration of infrastructure) and with cloud services like AWS/Azure.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Engineering, Mathematics / Statistics, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Autonomous, rigorous, creative and a team player.
