Senior Design Engineer

Job Description

As part of the Asia R&D team, you will be responsible for product design and development, including controls on customers requirement analysis/documents fill out.

What will you work on?

• Adopt new concept and take initiate in the research process to identify the best approach to turn the concept into a product that can be manufactured and workable

• Design flying toys and plane models/toy car models

• Follow up on the projects from design to production

• Develop or enhance existing or new products based on requirements/feedback from Marketing

• Conduct Pre-debug on products before tooling start

• Prepare drawing and costing information

• Figure out the most economical method and effective technology to apply to the design

• Research new technology applications in the market for new product development

What are your skills and experience?

• University degree in engineering. Possess interest and working knowledge in electronic, mechanical and electrical engineering

• Experience in handling projects for toy planes, toy cars or closely related items with at least 5 years design experience, with a strong focus on the Research function;

• Familiar with toys development process.

• Familiar with CAD and Solidworks software and master in 3D modeling method is a must.

• Establish network with external inventors on new product inventions, materials and latest technology that is useful for R&D product development

• Good command of written English & Chinese.
