GOALS
- Play a major role in the annual content upgrade of our database, including the development and adaptation of LCA models in the Sphera LCA for Experts software
- Develop into a specialist for Data-on-Demand queries including the development of client specific models and processes in the electronics, end-of-life or construction sector
- Answer customer questions in relation to MLC database topics
- Become a life cycle expert and a power user of the Sphera LCA for Experts and MLC database solutions
- Derive actions from analyses and evaluations concerning separation of JIRA issues into new aspect/improvement/bug
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be seen as expert in the electronics, end-of-life or construction sector
- Help to coordinate the corresponding specialty sector upgrade
- Contribute to the development of data-on-demand datasets as well as external client projects
- Work according to the process based on the “Scrum” methodology updating and creating content for the MLC databases
- Support the planning of own work
- Knowledge transfer: Conduct onboarding of new colleagues, can act as a mentor
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed degree in engineering or natural sciences with a technical background.
- A few years of experience in LCA and ideally in the use of LCA FE software.
- Structured and disciplined in the day-to-day organization of work, with a particular interest in adhering to and promoting predefined processes.
- Interest in dealing with technical details of the manufacturing process of material and energy supplies, etc.
- Electronics, end-of-life or construction sector knowledge
- Very good analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English
- Passion for sustainability, life cycle thinking, product sustainability, and/or climate change
- Natural curiosity to investigate issues, conduct research, design solutions and translate results into business practices
- Affinity for team work, as well as ability to work independently and responsibly
