Salary:
Target salary range: $110,000 - $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. We offer medical/dental/vision benefits and 401k contribution.
- Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Support requirements decomposition, traceability, verification planning, and configuration management.
- Coordinate technical activities across Government, FFRDC, UARC, and industry partners.
- Develop engineering documentation including:
- Systems Engineering Plans
- Interface Control Documents
- Requirements Documentation
- Verification Cross Reference Matrices
- Technical Briefings
- Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and working groups.
- Conduct trade studies, engineering assessments, and risk analyses.
- Support technical baseline management and change control processes.
- Assist with integration planning, system verification, validation, and operational transition activities.
- Prepare executive-level briefings and decision-support materials.
- Coordinate with program managers, chief engineers, and operational stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Support enterprise systems engineering efforts across multiple Space Force mission areas.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related technical discipline and 5 years of relative experience (4 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree).
- 5 years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or Federal programs.
- Experience with systems engineering lifecycle processes.
- Experience developing or managing requirements.
- Experience supporting technical integration across multiple organizations.
- Experience developing engineering documentation and technical briefings.
- Experience working directly with Government customers.
- Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI is required, along with SCI eligibility and participation in Continuous Evaluation.
- Must meet all requirements for SCI and SAP access and be willing to undergo a polygraph examination.

- Certifications: NCOSE ASEP/CSEP
- PMP
- Agile or Scrum certifications
