Responsibilities The position involves collaborating with Department of Defense (DoD) agencies and the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) to onboard financial data into Advana or Palantir Foundry, enabling enterprise-level reporting and analytics. This process emphasizes ensuring the use of authoritative data sources, maintaining data quality, and establishing secure access protocols. Key tasks include engaging agencies to identify priority datasets and confirm ownership and authoritativeness, as well as building source inventories and creating simple source-to-target mappings such as schemas, keys, and cadence. The role also involves coordinating connections and data ingestion schedules while implementing basic data-quality checks to verify accuracy and integrity. Responsibilities extend to registering datasets and metadata in the catalog, setting role-based access controls, and tracking onboarding progress while identifying risks. Regular updates will be provided through lightweight KPI and status reports to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the data-onboarding lifecycle.
