Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern testing frameworks and tools, coupled with the ability to design and implement robust automation frameworks from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Create and implement test automation frameworks, incorporating best practices and methodologies (data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid, or BDD/TDD).
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
• Perform API testing using RESTful and SOAP web services tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
• Execute database validations using SQL queries.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation tasks using Bash or PowerShell.
• Work in Agile, Kanban, or Lean environments, ensuring alignment with the development process.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and tools in test automation.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation.
• Expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Proven experience in designing test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Proficient in using Git for version control.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Knowledge of SQL for database querying.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
• Awareness of basic security testing practices and tools.
• Experience working with developing AI systems is a plus.
