The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team. You’ll work alongside the CTO and other engineers to build the infrastructure that allows for rapid experimentation and deployment. This is a ground-floor opportunity where your work will directly shape the platform, culture, and impact of Soris.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build our staging and production platforms that power our products.

• Build scalable and cost-efficient data pipelines for speed and reliability.

• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for full observability.

• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD workflows.

• Work with backend and product teams to align infrastructure with business needs.

• Maintain uptime, security, and performance across all environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.

• Strong background with AWS (ECS, EKS or Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).

• Skilled with Terraform or similar IaC tools.

• Proficient in scripting languages (Bash)

• Experience with CI/CD, container orchestration, and monitoring systems.

• Focus on scalability, cost efficiency, and system reliability.

Nice-To-Haves

• Experience with data pipelines or streaming tools like Airflow or Kafka.

• Knowledge of SOC2, HIPAA, or other compliance frameworks.

• Familiarity with AI or ML infrastructure.

• Experience in early-stage startups or small teams.
