The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with frontend engineering expertise to join our Engineering team. You’ll work alongside the CTO and other engineers to build Soris’ first MVP. This is a ground-floor opportunity where your work will directly shape the platform, culture, and impact of Soris.

Candidates with a good fit for this role:

• Are fluent in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and modern web tooling

• Have extensive experience building web applications end-to-end

• Want to ship fast, iterate, and own outcomes.

• Thrive in ambiguity, asking questions and solving problems across the stack.

• Believe in building systems that are secure, transparent, and human-friendly.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and related technologies.

• Create reusable UI components that will be present in all Soris applications.

• Ensure a positive user experience for all types of users, with accessibility in mind.

• Work closely with designers to translate high-fidelity designs into polished user-interfaces.

• Design and build core AI systems that solve real-world problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production web applications.

• Fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and modern web technologies.

• Experience with state management (Redux, MobX, Recoil, or similar)

• Familiarity with Restful APIs and GraphQL

• Proficiency in testing frameworks (JEST, React Testing Library, or Cypress)

• Knowledge of build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel)

Nice-To-Haves

• Exposure to design systems (Figma)

• Familiarity with frontend observability (Sentry, Datadog)
