As an Web Development Architect you will play a critical role in designing and overseeing the development of web applications and systems using the Java programming language.

[Primary Skills]:

  • 8-10 Years of Java website development and operations experience
  • Candidate should have sound knowledge of Java frameworks(Java, J2EE, Spring boot)databases(relational/noSQL) and a good amount of experience when it comes to hands-on coding
  • Strong knowledge on PIM, Translation tools and CDN (AWS CloudFront or Akamai)
  • Experience with Analytics integration preferably Google Analytics or Adobe Launch
  • Experience in delivering high performance websites with focus on scalability, load balancing, CDN, content/database optimization ,asynchronous processing, Mobile Optimization etc
  • Knowledge /Expertise in implementing the required security aspects related to authentication/authorization, Data Encryption, Data Privacy and Compliance, Session Management etc.
  • Should have good exposure and experience of CI/CD, should have used at least one automated deployment (Jenkins, Gitlab etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Framrwork or Libraries (React or Angular or Vue)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in database design and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of web security best practices and OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities.

  • Architectural Design: Lead the design and development of web applications, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, security, and scalability.
  • Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend Java-based technologies and frameworks for web development projects.
  • Coding and Development: Collaborate with development teams to write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.
  • System Integration: Integrate web applications with other systems, databases, and third-party services.
  • Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and ensure optimal application performance.
  • Security: Implement security best practices and measures to protect web applications against vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Documentation: Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, coding standards, and guidelines.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering their growth and development.
