Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and grow a global engineering team.
- Define, implement, and oversee development processes to ensure high-quality and on-time project delivery.
- Set standards for code quality, reliability, and maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to ensure the team delivers scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Conduct design and code reviews.
- Partner with product managers and technical program managers to set development priorities and manage project scopes.
- Represent the engineering team in customer engagements, gather and analyze customer requirements, and drive solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. MS/PhD degrees are preferred.
- 10 years of hands-on software development experience with a strong understanding of system architecture and clean code.
- 5+ years of experience building and managing a software development team, with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing first-line managers.
- 2 years of experience in a technical lead or architect role.
- Experience in managing engineers located in multiple countries.
- Excel in managing multiple parallel projects.
- Experience in C++ and Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
