About the Role

SoLo Funds is building the engineering function of the future: one engineer, operating a team of AI agents rather than managing a team of people. You will own full-stack development across the SoLo ecosystem, using agents as the workforce and your judgment as the control layer. This is a builder-operator role for someone who ships more through agents than most teams do through headcount, from frontend to backend to infrastructure.

What You'll Own

Direct full-stack AI agents to build, test, and ship features across SoLo Score, SoLo Wallet, SoLo Marketplace, Borrow, and Lend. Own the architecture, code quality, and reliability of what the agents produce, from UI down to APIs, services, and data layers. Design the workflows, prompts, guardrails, and evaluation standards that let agents write production code, run tests, review diffs, and manage deployments at scale. Keep the system secure, performant, and maintainable end to end.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day

• Orchestrate agents across the full development lifecycle, from spec to PR to production.

• Build and refine the evaluation harnesses, CI checks, and review gates that keep agent-generated code correct, secure, and auditable.

• Break ambiguous product requirements into clear tasks agents can execute, then verify and integrate their output.

• Monitor application health, performance, and incidents, stepping in when human judgment has to lead.

• Partner with product and design to ship fast without compromising quality.

You're a Great Fit if You've Got

• 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production systems.

• Strong full-stack fundamentals across frontend (React or similar), backend (APIs, services), databases, and cloud infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience directing AI coding agents or LLM-based workflows in production, not just experimenting with them.

• A portfolio, GitHub history, or shipped systems you can point to and speak to in depth.

• Solid grasp of testing, code review, security, and deployment best practices.

• Sound judgment on when to let agents run and when to write the code yourself.

• Comfort operating with high autonomy and full ownership.

You're an All Star Fit if You've Got

• Experience in fintech, lending, or payments.

• Background with mobile (React Native or native iOS/Android).

• Track record building CI/CD, observability, or evaluation systems for code or agent pipelines.
