About the Role

SoLo is building the data function of the future: one professional, operating a team of AI agents rather than managing a team of people. You will own data science, analysis, business intelligence, risk, fraud, and data engineering across the entire SoLo ecosystem, using agents as the workforce and your judgment as the control layer. This is a builder-operator role for someone who gets more done through agents than most teams do through headcount.

What You'll Own

Design, build and maintain the production pipelines, services and data models that turn transaction and behavioral data from SoLo Score, SoLo Wallet, SoLo Marketplace, Borrow, and Lend into signals the business can act on. Architect the systems (not just the prompts) that let agents run production analysis, model monitoring, pipeline maintenance, and anomaly detection at scale. Own data quality, governance, and reliability end to end, including the infrastructure underneath it. Keep lending risk and fraud detection sharp in real time. Translate ambiguous business questions into clear, defensible answers for leadership.

Build and refine the evaluation harnesses that keep agent output accurate and auditable. Monitor SoLo Score performance, default and delinquency trends, and fraud signals, intervening when human judgment has to lead. Stand up dashboards and BI that give the team a live view of marketplace health. Partner with product and risk to ship data-informed decisions fast.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day

• Orchestrate agents across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion and pipeline health to modeling and reporting, while owning the code and architecture they touch.

• Build and refine the evaluation harnesses that keep agent output accurate and auditable.

• Write and review production Python and SQL for pipelines, services, and models; make systems-design calls on how data infrastructure scales.

• Monitor SoLo Score performance, default and delinquency trends and fraud signals, intervening when human judgment has to lead.

• Stand up dashboards and BI that give the team a live view of marketplace health.

• Partner with product and risk to ship data-informed decisions fast.

You're a Great Fit if You've Got

• 5+ years as a data or software engineer shipping production systems (not just analysis or reporting).

• Strong Python fundamentals and systems-design judgment, plus deep fluency in SQL and warehousing.

• Hands-on experience directing AI agents or LLM-based workflows in production, not just experimenting with them.

• A portfolio, GitHub history or shipped systems you can point to and speak to in depth.

• Comfort operating with high autonomy and full ownership.

You're an All Star Fit if You've Got

• Risk and fraud analytics experience in fintech, lending, or payments; credit scoring or alternative underwriting background.

• Track record of building evaluation or observability systems for ML or agent pipelines.

• Background in consumer fintech or marketplaces. Used to a high-pace, high accountability environment.
