We are looking for a Senior Algorithm Developer with experience in developing and machine-learning models, simulations and optimization algorithms. Your role will focus on optimal energy management, forecasting, anomaly detection, and reliability. High proficiency in Python and scientific frameworks is required, along with experience in optimization algorithms and high-performance computing. Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize algorithms for optimal solar energy management, anomaly detection and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate scientific models into efficient computational algorithms, writing high quality production ready code.
• Conduct performance analysis and refine algorithms to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize modern data analysis and AI tools to process large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and support decision-making.
• Document algorithm development processes and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

• MSc/PhD in a scientific field, preferably with a background in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• 5+ years of experience in algorithm development, particularly in energy systems or related fields. - MUST
• Entrepreneurial mindset: taking ownership of solutions, working independently, and collaborating to bring innovative ideas to the team.
• High proficiency in Python, with experience in performance optimization. – Must
• Proficiency in at least one data-science framework, such us: scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, etc. – Must
• Proven experience with statistical inference and discrete optimization algorithms.
• Experience with time-series prediction and anomaly detection algorithms.
• Experience with high-performance computing and simulation frameworks.
• A background in the renewable energy industry - advantage.
