At SolarEdge, we’re transforming how the world produces and consumes energy. Our AI & Algorithms group builds the intelligence behind our products, from predictive analytics and optimization to advanced models and Generative AI. We’re looking for an AI Engineer to bridge the gap between research and real-world applications—bringing advanced AI solutions, including Generative AI, into production and impacting millions globally.

What Will You Do:

• Research and prototype innovative AI solutions, including Generative AI applications.
• Deploy and scale machine learning models into production environments.
• Contribute to architecture design, technical decision-making, and lead initiatives.
• Work closely with researchers, software engineers, and product managers to understand complex business challenges and deliver AI-powered solutions.
• Stay ahead of the curve by experimenting with the latest AI research and tools, driving innovation in SolarEdge.

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in research, algorithms, or incubation team.
• Proven production experience deploying and maintaining software systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks and LLMs, building end-to-end AI solutions.
• Strong grasp of data science project lifecycle and MLOps, including deployment, monitoring, and pipeline orchestration.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and efficient data handling for AI/ML applications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

It's an advantage if you have:

• MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Research experience in machine learning and algorithm development.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure), and hybrid/on-premises architectures.
• Enjoy owning the problems end-to-end and willing to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done.
