For our client in the energy sector, we are seeking a team of Service Engineers () Ref. No. 826740/1.Details:

Start: September/October 2025
Utilization: Full-Time
Location: Remote, Essen
Compensation: up to 80,000 EUR/year
Onsite arrangements to be made in consultation with project management.

Project Description:

The project aims to transform the existing offshore service engineering operations into a nearshore model. The current health check revealed that the previous results were suboptimal, thus urgent action is needed to introduce new impulses. Agile methods are applied using a Scrum framework to flexibly respond to changes in a dynamically evolving environment. As a concrete end goal is still being defined, self-organized and adaptable teams are required.

Tasks:
  • Support and implement the transition from an offshore to a nearshore model.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of existing systems.
  • Plan and implement the new project setup.
  • Assist in optimizing the tech stack.
  • Integrate and secure cybersecurity aspects within the framework of service engineering, as well as implement the Zero Trust Initiative.

Skills:
  • Experience as a Service Engineer with successfully completed projects in service engineering.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in agile methodologies (Scrum).
  • Solid expertise in Zscaler, M365, and Entra ID.
  • Technical expertise in C# and Python (preferred).
  • Experience in cybersecurity, ideally with implemented projects in a Zero Trust environment.
