• 5+ years of experience in Android application development
• 4+ years of experience with Kotlin
• Solid experience with Java for Android development
• Strong experience building, testing and maintaining native Android applications
• Experience using Android Studio as primary development environment
• Experience working with XML for UI definitions and application configurations
• Strong understanding of Android application lifecycle and architecture patterns
• Experience integrating mobile applications with backend REST APIs and enterprise services
• Experience consuming cloud-based and microservice-based platforms
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices and authentication mechanisms
• Experience with Git and GitHub/GitHub Enterprise
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Experience participating in CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and AirWatch
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimization skills

• Experience with Jetpack libraries and Android modern architecture components
• Experience integrating event-driven backend platforms
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services
• Exposure to enterprise mobility management platforms
• Experience collaborating with distributed backend teams

• Analyze User Stories and provide feedback for refinement activities.
• Design, develop, test and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement user-facing functionality following mobile development best practices.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and enterprise services.
• Create and maintain XML layouts, configurations and application resources.
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Optimize application performance, usability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Backend Developers, QA Engineers and Product Owners.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards.
• Support application deployment activities through AirWatch and CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify technical risks and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with project guidelines, security standards and development processes.
